Snow Plow

INDIVIDUAL TRIP EDGE

The purpose of a trip edge is to allow the plow to not lose its whole load when the blade hits an object hidden under the snow. When a plow without a trip edge hits an object, the plow must be lifted up and over the object, dumping its snow load.

This is an 8ft plow with 8 trip blades. Each blade is 10” wide and 4” high, giving them clearance to slide over the top of a standard curb. The slide plates are bolted to the trip edges to allow for replacement during normal wear and tear. The edges are able to flip back individually up to 110 degrees.  The unit slides into a standard 2” hitch receiver tube sub frame. Torsion bars are the backbone to the help with twisting as the blades edges trip or when windrowing.
