Headache Rack
I wanted to have a custom headache rack and storage above the roof without taking up bed space. Along with using as little bed rail as possible.
The bed rail is not made to carry this much weight in such a small foot print. A sub frame was made to mount over and bellow the bed rail. Transferring the weight down to the anchor points in the bed and to the wheel well. By doing this, it allowed the portion of the rack that sat on the bed rail to be very short and allowed the rack to sit 3ft over the roof. Custom design was laser cut to include brake lights and strobes. Marker lights across the front and accent lights up the sides finish off the rack.
